EXPERIENCE
Link 2020 was founded by Mike Bessell. Over many years, Mike has built sustainable and commercial relationships with clients and suppliers within the construction industry. One of his greatest strengths is the ability to understand the requirements and research the market to ensure expectations are met, giving results that meet the needs of both the supplier and the end user.
Mike’s background is in customer-facing businesses in retail and leisure, as well as wholesale distribution of builders merchant and DIY products. This background helped him to establish relationships with many merchants and developers.
Mike’s passion lies with the timber frame industry, with its obvious environmental and sustainability benefits. Along with the commercial benefits for the developer and the end user, timber frames are win-win product, connecting clients and suppliers to form sustainable and commercial construction partnerships.
Link 2020 now connects a network of partners, all with the ethos of building partnerships for the long term.
We’ve helped launch start-up construction products to great success, with one example securing 8000 orders in the first 12 months, through a managed roll-out to over 600 branches nationwide. Working with a leading timber frame company, we have driven revenues of approximately £2million in the first 24 months.
